Teeth Whitening
Your smile... A white smile it is often the first thing someone notices about you. Teeth whitening is one of the most simplified ways to improve your appearance. It leaves you looking and feeling more confident, refreshed and youthful.
There are many different ways to whiten teeth today, although not all are created equal. Over-the-counter whiteners are not able to significantly whiten the teeth, causing unsatisfactory results.
Whitening strips tend to fall off while paint on whiteners are washed away. Others provide an uncomfortable mouth tray, which is bulky and causes the gel to be swallowed instead of held against the teeth.
Our system uses a custom-fitted tray that ensures maximum whitening and a perfect fit. Our trays do not allow saliva in to dilute the whitening gel. Our trays only contact your teeth, not your gums, eliminating the possibility of sensitivity.
The custom-fit tray is comfortable, thin and nearly
invisible. You have the freedom to wear your trays during the
daytime or at night while sleeping.

ARE YOU A CANDIDATE?
Tooth color is largely a matter of inherited tendencies. Some of us are born with the tendency for lighter teeth and some teeth respond better to whitening than others. The following stains can be effectively whitened: - Coffee / tea - Smoking - Aging or hereditary stains - Soda - Antibiotics (such as tetracycline) Whitening is not effective on crowns (caps), tooth-colored fillings and other artificial dental work. Whitening gel should only be used by those with healthy teeth and gums. A Healthy Mouth Is Most Important!!
IS WHITENING SAFE?
Teeth whitening has been performed safely and effectively for years and continues to increase in popularity. Significant research has shown that whitening has no adverse effects on the teeth. Additionally, we use American Dental Association approved products. Sensitivity to hot and cold food or beverages is common during the first few applications of whitening and is temporary.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
A 20 minute visit is all you need to get started.
1. Imprints will be taken of your smile. The imprint will be used to make the custom-fit trays that hold the teeth whitening gel. These trays are designed for your unique mouth only, making for a snug and comfortable fit.
2. Within days, we will provide you with your custom-fit trays and professional whitening gel. We will also provide you with detailed instructions on the amount of gel to use and the proper care for your new trays.
3. A touch-up application can be performed as needed to maintain your maximum whiteness.
